On April 6th, 2020, the Jackson Town Council unanimously passed a Net-Zero 2030 Resolution, joining a national and global commitment to reduce carbon emissions to net-zero in the next ten years.
We thank the elected officials who supported this resolution, but what comes next?
We’re working to build momentum and support around our message – that Teton County can, and must, be a leader in addressing climate change. The current pandemic has shown how our community can work together to protect our most vulnerable and come up with compassionate solutions for complicated problems. How do we take this community resilience and apply it to the unfolding climate crisis?
Join us in advocating for our local officials to support climate-positive policies, and in increasing awareness around the impacts of climate change on our community. We're building a network which listens, adapts, and is open to all. Together, we can support the efforts our community is taking to create a more sustainable future and pave the way for collaborative, creative problem-solving moving forward.
Whether you can help through volunteering your time, sharing your thoughts, monetary donations, or spreading our mission through word-of-mouth, thank you! We can't accomplish our goals without your help – it will take all of us to make Jackson net-zero carbon by 2030!
We are dedicated to improving the lives of those in our community by actively taking steps to combat climate change and reduce our carbon emissions to zero by 2030. Your contribution today helps us make a difference in creating a stable future for all.
